Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

They deliver specialized wound care in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings, assessing, developing, and managing individualized treatment plans for chronic wounds and skin conditions. The role involves patient education, collaboration with healthcare teams, and supervision of staff.

Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, valid licensure, Wound Care Certification within 6 months, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The position requires physical effort, independent judgment, cultural sensitivity, and reliable transportation for travel within the region.

Essential duties encompass wound assessment, treatment, documentation, team communication, and adherence to safety protocols. The role demands strong clinical skills, interpersonal abilities, flexibility, and the capacity to work in diverse environments.
