The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and oversees Nurses & Medical Assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, licensure as MD/DO, and wound care certification within 6 months.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, PA, MD, or DO, with active patient contact preferred.
  • Must be physically capable of fieldwork, including lifting and exposure to environmental conditions.
  • Travel is essential (up to 25%), with reliable transportation required.

  • Essential duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
