Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO, provides specialized wound management in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings.
They assess, develop, and manage individualized wound care plans for patients with chronic wounds and complex skin conditions. They perform treatments, supervise staff, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers. This role requires independent judgment, strong assessment skills, and the ability to work in varied environments. Must be licensed as an NP, with at least 2 years of relevant experience, and complete wound care certification within 6 months. Physical and mental stamina are essential, along with reliable transportation for travel (approximately 25%).
