*ABOUT US:*

Northern Virginia Psychiatric Group (NOVAPSY) is a multi-disciplinary group practice offering a broad range of psychiatric, psychotherapy related treatments for adult, adolescent, and geriatric age groups since 1978. We are in Fairfax Virginia. Our practice is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Clinical Psychologist to join outpatient practice in Northern Virginia. Our office provides a warm, friendly, and inviting environment for clinicians and our patients with administrative support for the prospective clinician.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

* Licensed master level Social Worker, LCSW or Counselor, LPC.
* Prior relevant work experience is preferred but is not mandated.
* The candidate must have an independent Virginia license in one of the counseling professions (social worker, psychologist, marriage and family therapist, licensed professional counselor, etc.).

*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

* Experienced in treating patients presenting with a range of clinical disorders, our practice mostly deals with affective disorders but on an infrequent basis other disorders may be encountered by the prospective clinician.
* Provide individual cognitive-behavioral therapy, supportive psychotherapy, interactive, interpersonal psychotherapy to adolescents, and adults for relevant disorders as applicable.
* Collaborate with the patient (and family as applicable) to develop a treatment plan to address identified treatment goals and interventions in psychotherapy.
* Timely and complete documentation and billing for services provided.
