About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Neurosurgery MD in Ohio!

Take on high-acuity neurosurgical cases while earning top pay in a fully supported hospital setting!

A respected hospital in Youngstown, Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon to provide 24-hour call coverage for Level 1 trauma on a recurring monthly basis. This is a lucrative locum opportunity offering a competitive daily call rate of $3,200 (negotiable), plus call-back compensation, comprehensive malpractice, and fully covered travel and lodging.

🔍 Assignment Details:

  • Location: Youngstown, OH

  • Start Date: January 2025

  • Schedule: 24-hour call (7a–7a), minimum 1 week/month

  • Open Dates: Multiple weeks from Jan 2025 – Feb 2027 available

  • Call Type: Urgent/emergent neurosurgical coverage

  • Average Cases: 1–2 emergent cases/day

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Trauma Level: Level 1

🛠️ Case Types Include:

  • Adult Trauma Neurosurgery

  • Brain Bleed Stoppage

  • Clot & Tumor Removal

  • Trauma Repairs

  • Shunt Insertions/Revisions

  • Spine Procedures:

    • Spinal Fusions, Laminectomies

    • Diskectomies, Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty

    • Spine Stabilization & Reconstruction

Note: Neuro IR support is available onsite.

✅ Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Neurosurgery

  • Active Ohio License

  • BLS, ACLS, and DEA

  • Must provide specific date availability at time of submission
