MRI Technologist

Job Description

This position involves performing high-quality MRI procedures efficiently, following established protocols to ensure optimal imaging results. The MRI Tech operates MRI equipment, maintains patient comfort and safety, and communicates test completion to radiologists.

Qualifications include an Associate degree or completion of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program, with required certifications such as MRT or ARMRIT in MRI, BLS, and a valid Texas driver’s license. Experience in clinical radiology (minimum 1 year preferred) is desired.

Certifications must include ARRT in Radiography and MRI, BLS, and a Texas Driver’s License. Pathways include MRI Tech (Pathway 1, 2, or 3), with specific licensing and certification requirements for each.
