This part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers benefits including 403(b) match, dental, health, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
Responsibilities include providing direct speech therapy services to clients with special needs, primarily pediatric cases in various settings such as preschools, elementary schools, and outpatient clinics. Duties involve assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and communication with clients, families, and teams. The role requires developing intervention programs, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatments to meet goals.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA-accredited program, at least two years of experience, and a valid Florida license with CCC or Clinical Fellowship. Experience with children with Autism, AAC devices, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certification is desirable but training can be provided.
Key tasks involve conducting screenings, interpreting evaluations, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring quality service delivery while maintaining professional ethics and effective communication.
