Wound Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive wound management across various healthcare settings, including skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Administer wound treatments such as dressing changes and advanced therapies.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA using EMR systems like Epic or Athenahealth.

Support clinical research and assist with pain management needs.

Candidates should have a strong nursing background with experience in critical care, outpatient settings, and procedures like suturing and IV insertion. Knowledge of EMR systems, infection control, and geriatric or pediatric care is preferred. Skills in telehealth, behavioral health, and post-acute care are a plus.

The role offers full-time employment with benefits, including a competitive salary range of $120,000–$150,000, flexible schedules, health insurance, and paid time off.

The position requires in-person work.
