Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

Job Description

This full-time Licensed Social Worker position involves providing direct client contact to certify treatment and deliver psychotherapy for substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Conduct screenings, intake interviews, assessments, and diagnostic impressions.

Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling related to addiction.

Provide client orientations, psycho-education, and crisis intervention.

Coordinate referrals, perform case management, and maintain accurate documentation.

Participate in treatment planning and client education.

Note: Clinical supervision is not permitted.

Requirements: Master’s in Social Work, NYS licensure, minimum 2 years’ experience in substance abuse treatment, and completion of specific training within 3 months of hire.
