The Clinical Nurse provides competent, patient-centered care in a hospital setting, adhering to professional standards. Responsibilities include:

Participating in patient and family education, assessing learning needs, and promoting understanding.

Evaluating care outcomes and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.

Managing complex patient needs, performing bedside testing, and prioritizing care delivery.

Developing professional growth goals, contributing to team and quality improvement efforts, and promoting safety.

Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, identifying discharge planning needs, and fostering family advocacy.

Collaborating on care planning, addressing cultural considerations, and prioritizing tasks for complex cases.

Engaging with current research to inform practice and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements include a nursing degree, North Carolina RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. This position is part-time, onsite, and day-shift, supporting community health initiatives within a supportive, inclusive environment.
