Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Supervisor / Charge Nurse

Job Description

Seeking an experienced OR Nurse Supervisor in the Suffolk area to oversee surgical teams across various specialties including Ortho, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and ENT.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, medication management, and clinical staff education, with most procedures involving anesthesia or sedation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years as a circulating nurse in an OR within an acute care hospital or ASC.

At least 2 years of nursing supervision experience focused on OR, ICU, or ER.

Preferred: 4 years as an OR nurse supervisor, experience with orthopedic and outpatient procedures, EMR familiarity, and CNOR certification.

Current VA RN license, ACLS/PALS, BSN (or equivalent experience), and no call, night, weekend, or holiday shifts.
