Job Description

Summary:

  • Supervises and coordinates nursing staff in a patient care unit, ensuring patient needs are met and evaluating care quality.
  • Participates in planning, training, and educational programs for staff development.
  • Manages patient flow, communicates with departments, and serves as a clinical resource during crises.
  • Requires a nursing degree, at least 2 years of hospital nursing and supervisory experience, and current Texas RN license.
  • Certifications include CPR, ACLS (within 6 months), NIHSS, and de-escalation training; additional certifications as needed.
  • Offers multiple shifts on a per diem basis with a pay rate of $40/hour in an in-person setting.
