Creating a better life starts with you. This role involves performing radiologic imaging to provide diagnostic images for injury and disease treatment.
Qualifications: Completion of a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration, NM State Certification, BLS certification, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities: Conduct radiologic procedures independently, understand reporting, utilize D.R., P.A.C.S., R.I.S., and E.M.R. systems, triage exams, transport patients, maintain exam rooms, and ensure confidentiality.
Provide coverage for O.R., ICU, E.D., and communicate professionally with staff and patients.
Maintain safety, courtesy, effectiveness, and stewardship standards while adhering to dress code and hospital policies.
Physical and Environmental Conditions: Exposure to radiation and body fluids, prolonged standing, lifting patients, and interacting compassionately with patients, including those with challenging behaviors.
Additional duties include continued education and professional development.
