Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor – Pediatric Step Down

Job Description

Seeking a full-time RN Unit Supervisor for a 22-bed Pediatric Step Down Unit in Falls Church, VA.

Our unit cares for intermediate patients with renal diagnoses, high flow, and medical/surgical cases requiring step-down care. Nurse ratios are 3:1 for IMC and 4:1 for floor patients.

*Schedule:* Full-time day/night rotation with sign-on and relocation bonuses.

*Role:* Front-line leader responsible for ensuring quality care, supporting shared governance, and fostering team engagement through coaching, recognition, and encouragement.

*Requirements:* 1+ year pediatric RN experience, BLS certification, RN licensure in VA, BSN (or within one year of completing it), charge nurse training within 90 days. PALS preferred.
