Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Critical Care in California

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a Critical Care role in California at a Level II Trauma Center.

Shift: 4 days/week, 10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with assignments from January to June and ongoing coverage.

Responsibilities include managing neuro-trauma and neurosurgical ICU patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and documenting in Cerner EMR.

Procedures involve both low/moderate and high-risk interventions such as laceration repair, IV access, fracture reductions, G-tube placement, intubation, cardioversion, chest tubes, and line placements.

Requirements: Active CA license, board certification, ACLS, ATLS, DEA.
