Job Description
The Staff Obstetrics Physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and referring to specialists as needed.
They manage approximately 20 patients daily, including walk-ins, and handle after-hours calls telephonically, with a rotation schedule of about one week every 7-8 weeks.
Responsibilities include supporting organizational values, prioritizing tasks, delivering professional patient care aligned with ACOG guidelines, documenting thoroughly, and supervising NP/PAs.
They participate in meetings, peer reviews, and committees, and ensure EMR documentation is timely.
The role requires a MD or DO with OB/GYN certification, licensure in California, and preferably experience in ambulatory care and integrated care models.
Strong communication, decision-making, leadership, and cultural competency skills are essential.
Must work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be adaptable to multiple locations.
