Job Description

The RN Emergency Room Manager in Rabun County, GA oversees the ER’s nursing operations full-time, reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer.

She/he is responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance.

Key duties include supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care, maintaining quality and safety standards, and collaborating with medical and administrative teams to improve service delivery.

Qualifications include current Georgia RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under stress.

Physical requirements involve long periods of walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work conditions include potential exposure to hazards, with duties requiring flexibility to work holidays and weekends.
