About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Austin Major Group to find a qualified Critical Care NP in Illinois!

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to support our expanding ICU team. The APP will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a collaborative ICU setting alongside physicians, fellow APPs, and the e-ICU team.

Position Details:

• Manage 5–10 patients per shift
• Participate in ICU rounds at 10 AM and 10 PM
• 12-hour shifts (day and night); Sunday through Saturday
• Minimum 4 consecutive shifts
• Estimated 20 shifts per month
• No call required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive critical care management
• Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement
• Arterial line placement
• Hemodialysis (HD) line placement
• Intubations (based on skill level and comfort)
• Collaborate with on-site physicians, APPs, and e-ICU support

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active Illinois license required
• Minimum 1 year experience in critical care
• DEA and Illinois CSR required
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
