Job Description
The Licensed Addictions Counselor provides individual and group chemical dependency services in a modified therapeutic community setting.
Essential functions include attending family treatment meetings, evaluating and developing personalized treatment plans, conducting counseling sessions, and making referrals for aftercare.
They document progress, participate in staff meetings, and adhere to clinical and administrative protocols, applying evidence-based practices like CBT and motivational interviewing.
Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Science field with licensure and experience with adult offenders, or equivalent experience with licensure. Preferred experience includes working in residential or therapeutic community settings.
