Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.

They deliver specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, performing assessments, developing care plans, and educating patients and caregivers.

Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral Nursing degree, licensure as an MD/DO, wound care certification within 6 months, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Essential skills involve independent judgment, supervision, adaptability to diverse populations, and physical ability for fieldwork.

Responsibilities encompass wound assessment, treatments, supervision of staff, documentation, collaboration with healthcare teams, and adherence to safety protocols.
