Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

Job Summary:

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams.

  • Qualifications:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, licensed MD/DO.
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Complete Wound Care Certification within 6 months.

  • Physical & Mental Requirements:
  • Requires significant physical effort, including lifting and mobility tasks.
  • Must work independently, make quick judgments, and handle emotional stress.

  • Work Conditions:
  • Field-based role involving travel to patient sites.
  • Exposure to biohazards and infectious materials, with adherence to safety protocols.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

  • Core Duties:
  • Reassess wounds, perform treatments, supervise staff, and document patient interactions.
  • Coordinate care plans, follow infection control policies, and participate in team meetings.
  • Maintain advanced wound care knowledge and excellent communication skills.
