Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Provides specialized onsite wound care to patients in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
Conducts assessments, develops care plans, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams to promote healing.
Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, valid MD/DO licensure, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Must complete Wound Care Certification within 6 months.
Position involves physical activity, travel (up to 25%), and adherence to safety protocols.
Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination with providers.
