Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Provides specialized onsite wound care in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings for chronic, pressure, surgical, and complex skin wounds. Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams to promote healing. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral Nursing degree, active licensure as MD/DO, and wound care certification within 6 months. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, PA, MD, or DO, with recent patient contact preferred. Position involves physical effort, travel within the region, and exposure to biohazards; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols.
