Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO and overseeing Nurses & Medical Assistants, provides specialized wound care services in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings.
They perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and manage wound treatments for chronic, pressure, surgical, and complex skin wounds. Responsibilities include patient and caregiver education, collaboration with healthcare teams, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols. This field-based role requires travel within the region, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently with strong assessment and communication skills. Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral Nursing degree, current NP licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
