The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO and overseeing Nurses & Medical Assistants, provides specialized wound care services in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings.

  • They perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and manage wound treatments for chronic, pressure, surgical, and complex skin wounds.
  • Responsibilities include patient and caregiver education, collaboration with healthcare teams, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols.
  • This field-based role requires travel within the region, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently with strong assessment and communication skills.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral Nursing degree, current NP licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
