Job Description
We are seeking a Vascular/Interventional Radiologist for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in California. This role, starting on Sep 15, 2025, entails comprehensive IR coverage and on-call responsibilities, primarily working weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, with additional call coverage as required.

Schedule:
Day shifts: 8 am – 5 pm
On-call: Monday – Friday, 5 pm – 8 am; Weekend 24-hr coverage
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage an average of 10 IR cases per day, including suite procedures and CT-guided interventions such as biopsies and nephrostomies.
Handle emergency procedures for DVT, PE, and other urgent conditions.
Provide 24-hour on-call support, responding promptly to calls in adherence to medical staff guidelines.
Collaborate with a team that includes a Radiology Physician Assistant (RPA) and a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to manage daily workloads.
Additional Information
Required Board Certifications: Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology
Must hold a valid California medical license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
