Valley Hospitalists, P.C., a well-established and successful private practice, is excited to invite a talented Hospitalist to join our team in Winchester, Virginia. Located just 50 minutes from Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the vibrant suburbs of Washington, D.C., our practice offers the best of both worlds: a supportive community and easy access to major metropolitan areas.
We are seeking a highly qualified physician to join our team with a schedule that promotes work–life balance through a 7-on/7-off rotation. All physicians must be Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Candidates must hold an unrestricted Virginia medical license, and we are not sponsors of J-1 or H-1 Visas.
We offer an excellent payer mix of private practice patients with no indigent patient responsibilities. Our practice has a closed ICU and a 24/7 rapid response team. Compensation includes a highly competitive salary plus bonuses based on productivity. Additionally, there is a $50K sign-on bonus, with total income potential in the $290,000–$300,000 range. Full partnership is available after just one year, providing clear career advancement and a vested interest in the success of the practice. *Duties*
* Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
* Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.
* Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
*Requirements*
* Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
* Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia.
* Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Epic is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
* Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership when necessary.
