Job Description

The Substance Abuse Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to clients with substance use and co-occurring behavioral health conditions.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, documenting services, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.
They support relapse prevention, discharge planning, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree, active licensure, and knowledge of evidence-based addiction treatment.
Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience in behavioral health.
Work involves office, residential, and outpatient settings, with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
