About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Alumni Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified General Surgery MD in Rockford, Illinois, 61101!
- Requirements: Board Certified, ACLS & BLS Certifications, Active Illinois License.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday through Friday No call required
- The role will primarily focus on inpatient coverage with some overlap in outpatient (clinic) responsibilities. The APP will work alongside 2 neurosurgeons and another APP to manage a combined inpatient census of 20–25 patients (shared among providers).
- Round on neurosurgery inpatients
- Perform patient assessments and documentation
- Assist with care coordination and discharge planning
- Provide support in clinic as needed
- Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons and clinical team
- Weekly Direct Deposits
- Travel and Lodging Provided if Needed
