Job Description
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role assists with routine patient care activities in a nursing unit, supporting with clerical and organizational tasks.
Assists with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and prepares rooms accordingly. Ensures patient belongings accompany them and transports stable patients safely. Maintains confidentiality, cleans and manages supplies, and runs unit errands. Supports a safe environment by replenishing supplies, responding to emergencies, and identifying patient condition changes. Communicates effectively with team members and adapts care to meet patients’ individual needs. Performs unit-specific care tasks, documents appropriately, and maintains organized supplies. Job requirements include a CNA license, BLS certification, and preferred patient care experience. The schedule is per diem as needed.
