We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Orthopedic Physician Associate to join our dynamic team at our Cedar Hills clinic. As Go To Ortho looks to expand rapidly, this role will begin as full time 36 hours/weeks. Go To Ortho is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care to individuals facing musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Position Summary:

The Physician Associate will be responsible for providing comprehensive orthopedic care to patients under the supervision of a physician group. This includes, but not limited to:

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conducting thorough patient examinations, obtaining medical histories, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays).

Treatment Planning and Implementation: Developing and implementing treatment plans, including but not limited to:

Splinting and casting

Injections (joint, trigger point)

Wound care

Minor surgical procedures

Patient Education: Providing clear and concise patient education on their condition, treatment plan, and self-care strategies.

Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate and timely medical records.

Quality Improvement: Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

Strong orthopedic knowledge and clinical skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Associate program.

Licensed to practice as a Physician Associate in Oregon.

Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Minimum of 2 year of experience in an orthopedic role required

BLS and ACLS certification required
