Responsibilities:
– Assessing and evaluating patients’ wounds to determine the appropriate treatment plan
– Developing and implementing wound care protocols and procedures
– Providing direct patient care, including wound dressing changes, wound debridement, and wound irrigation, application of advanced biologics
– Monitoring patients’ progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
– Educating patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies
– Documenting all assessments, treatments, and interventions in patients’ medical records

Experience:
– Valid Advanced Nurse Practitoner (ARNP) license in the state of Oregon
– Minimum of 1 year of experience in Wound Care or in a related field
– Strong knowledge of wound care principles, techniques, and best practices
– Proficiency in using specialized wound care products and equipment
– Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
– Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
