The Nurse Manager oversees unit operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff performance under the Nurse Director’s guidance.
Coordinates staffing, admissions, and surge plans based on census and acuity, collaborating with supervisors and leadership. Supports staff development through onboarding, certifications, and ongoing education, fostering professionalism and a positive culture. Manages problem-solving, compliance, and strategic planning to maintain clinical excellence and regulatory adherence. Optimizes resource utilization, monitors finances, and promotes staff and physician engagement for service excellence. Requires 3+ years clinical experience, RN licensure, associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred), and leadership skills. This full-time role is located at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV.
