Job Description
The Nurse Manager oversees all unit functions, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Provides leadership in staffing, resource management, and clinical standards in collaboration with leadership and staff.
Works with House Supervisors to coordinate admissions, manage census, and adjust surge plans based on service needs.
Supports staff development through onboarding, certifications, and ongoing education, fostering a culture of professionalism.
Addresses issues effectively, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and participates in strategic planning.
Manages budget, resource utilization, and promotes service excellence aligned with organizational values.
Requires at least 3 years of clinical experience, RN licensure, Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and leadership skills. Full-time, varies schedule, based at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in WV.
