OHB is looking for a Mental Health Therapist to work with youth, young adults, adults, & families to make a difference in their lives.
Mental Health Therapist – $3,000 Hiring Bonus
Salary: $54,895 – $67,000 (PLMHP – based on experience); $61,000 – $71,000 (LMHP – based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week). Requires two evenings per week (not past 7:00 PM), and occasional weekends are optional.
About the Role
OHB is seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our Clinical Team. This role provides a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for youth in crisis while strengthening family connections. Our therapists make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth, families, and the community.
The Outpatient Therapist collaborates with the Senior Director of Campus Life Services and the Clinical Director to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment. Services are provided onsite, in schools, in family homes, and in community settings, and include individual, group, and family therapy. This position primarily supports clients in our Residential Group Home and Crisis Stabilization Program.

Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, family, and group therapy (typically 5 times per week). The therapist will have at least 20 billable clients and conduct 1 treatment group with the Group Home clients and 1 treatment group with the Crisis Stabilization clients at a minimum weekly.
Complete clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
Collaborate with clients, families, and the Treatment Team to achieve goals.
Maintain timely and accurate records, documentation, and billing.
Partner with internal staff, families, and community stakeholders.
Adhere to OHB policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
Licensed PLMHP or LMHP in good standing (LIMHP accepted). Provisionally licensed candidates must obtain full licensure within 3 years of hire.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth and/or families.
Strong knowledge of counseling modalities, diagnostic principles, trauma-informed care, and strength-based approaches.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and ability to pass all background checks and drug screening.
CPR and First Aid Certification required (can be obtained after hire).
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work takes place in a mix of office and community-based settings, including client homes, schools, and other community locations. Agency vehicle available for transportation to and from appointments.
Frequent computer use; must be able to sit, see, hear, and communicate effectively.
Ability to manage normal levels of stress and meet deadlines.
