Urology Physician – Inpatient Locum Tenens

Location: Pittsfield, MA
Dates: February 2, 2026 – March 31, 2026
Practice Setting: Hospital-Based | 100% Inpatient

 

Description 📝

We are seeking a Urology Physician to provide inpatient locum. This position involves comprehensive inpatient urology care, including general urology procedures and surgeries, within a collaborative hospital-based environment. The provider will work alongside an established team of urologists, with no on-call requirements.

Compensation 💵

• Pay Rate: $400/hour

• Travel expenses covered, including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

 

Job Responsibilities 💼

• Provide inpatient urology consultations and patient management
• Perform general urology inpatient procedures and surgeries
• Collaborate with a team of urologists
• Document care using Meditech EMR
• Coordinate care with nursing, lab, and hospital staff

Qualifications 🎓

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• BLS certification
• Clean malpractice history and background
• NPDB self-query (within the past 30 days)
• COVID-19 vaccination

Working Hours ⏰

• Shift Options:
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: None
• Coverage Dates: February 2, 2026 – March 31, 2026
