Locums Interventional Radiology Physician in Kentucky – 2 Weeks On, 1 Week Off
Interventional Radiology Physician locums opportunity in Kentucky near Huntington Tri State Airport offering a rotating two weeks on, one week off schedule.
Highlights
- Two weeks on, one week off rotation
- Dedicated IR role with no diagnostic reads
- Strong APP and physician support
- Active stroke and vascular program
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient IR
- Four IR suites including one biplane plus CT access
- Two IR physicians onsite weekdays
- Dedicated IR nurses, techs, anesthesia, and surgical backup
Schedule
- 8 to 10 hour procedural days
- Week 1 call coverage
- Week 2 outpatient and procedural focus
- Week 3 off
Cases and Procedures
- Stroke thrombectomy and pulmonary embolism intervention
- Biopsies, drains, ports, and central lines
- Dialysis access, nephrostomies, embolizations, IVC filters, TIPS
- Bread and butter vascular and non vascular IR
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiology Physician
- Active Kentucky license required
- Ohio license preferred
- Ability to perform vascular cases including thrombectomy
