Job Description
The Rehab Speech and Language Pathologist provides clinical evaluation and direct patient care in an assigned facility, with additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, strong communication skills, and knowledge of treatment principles and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities encompass patient screening, evaluation, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising staff, participating in interdisciplinary and family meetings, maintaining documentation, and ensuring resident rights and confidentiality.
They promote teamwork, adhere to safety and sanitation protocols, provide excellent customer service, and support residents’ rights.
This role requires physical ability to assist patients with transfers, emotional resilience, alertness, and sensory acuity.
