Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling and support to individuals in a detox facility.

  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Offer individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques like CBT and MI.
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment as needed, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain confidential records in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Stay current with best practices in substance abuse treatment.

    • Requirements include relevant degrees, certification/licensure, experience in counseling, and knowledge of behavioral therapies and co-occurring disorders. Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Las Vegas, NM, before starting.
