Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor – Detox Center

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling and support at a detox facility.

Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions such as CBT and MI.

Offer individual, group, and family therapy to assist clients’ recovery.

Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic care.

Maintain confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Stay informed on current best practices in substance abuse treatment.

Requirements: Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Behavioral Health or related field; relevant certification/licensure; experience in counseling; knowledge of behavioral therapies and co-occurring disorders; strong communication skills; ability to work in a team; familiarity with HIPAA.
