Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide support and counseling to individuals in a detox facility.

  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques such as CBT and MI.
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic care.
  • Maintain confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Stay current with industry research and best practices.

    • Requirements include an advanced degree in Behavioral Health or related fields, relevant certification, and experience in substance abuse counseling. Strong communication skills, knowledge of co-occurring disorders, and team collaboration are essential.
