Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling and support in a detox facility.
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions using techniques like CBT and MI.
Offer individual, group, and family therapy while monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and maintain confidential records per HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications include relevant degrees, certification/licensure, experience in substance abuse counseling, and knowledge of behavioral therapies and co-occurring disorders.
Position is full-time, offering benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and flexible scheduling. Requires relocation to Las Vegas, NM before starting. In-person work with day and evening shifts. Passion for helping individuals overcome substance abuse is essential.
