Job Description

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients, including crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies.

  • Conduct assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental issues related to diagnosis or life situations.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and crisis services as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and community resources to optimize patient care.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and maintain confidentiality per standards.
  • Educate patients and families on managing diagnoses and treatments.
  • Maintain records and liaise with community agencies. Some travel may be required.

    Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure (LMHC, LMSW, etc.) in Iowa. Benefits offered include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), loan forgiveness, paid time off, and more.
