Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our specialty wound care facility.

  • Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of wounds such as diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, and surgical wounds, and developing individualized treatment plans that may involve debridement, dressing changes, and therapies like negative pressure wound therapy.
  • Provide patient and family education on wound management, prevention, and nutrition.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care and document all patient interactions accurately in EHR systems.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance wound care practices.
  • Monitor patient progress through follow-up visits, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Require strong clinical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication, proficiency with EHR, and a proactive team approach.
