Job Description

Seeking an experienced Aerospace Medicine Specialist Physician (Flight Surgeon) to serve at various AETC bases and locations. The role involves clinical duties in flight and operational medicine clinics, including sick call, FAA exams, medical profile reviews, and aeromedical waivers.

Responsibilities include supporting aerospace medicine operations, conducting case reviews, ensuring compliance with medical standards, and providing consultation on medical waivers, public health plans, and operational procedures.

Candidates must have a MD or DO license, board certification (preferably in Aerospace Medicine), at least 5 years of aerospace medicine and flight surgeon experience, and knowledge of relevant regulations and medical IT systems. Advanced certifications like ACLS and BLS are required.
