Job Description

Grow your expertise and make a lasting impact in mental health care by joining a collaborative outpatient team specializing in treating adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses, including psychotic disorders.

This full-time Licensed Therapist position involves providing diagnostic assessments, evidence-based psychotherapy (individual, family, and group), and recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care for clients with complex needs. Caseloads are manageable (~6–10 clients), supporting quality therapy and work–life balance.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree, active California license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC), at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches. Experience with psychosis and co-occurring conditions is preferred.

Key responsibilities entail conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, crisis intervention, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role offers opportunities for professional growth, training, and community engagement. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and professional development.

Work is in person at a high-acuity outpatient clinic in San Diego, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Candidates must be licensed and able to commute to the location.
