Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides speech, language, swallowing, and hearing screenings and treatments for children across all age groups within the Special Education services Program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies. Develops and implements individualized therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals and classroom activities. Collaborates with support staff and families to create inclusive, supportive environments and plan appropriate at-home activities. Conducts evaluations, assessments, and screenings, including community visits and early intervention services. Provides training on augmentative communication devices and maintains accurate documentation. Participates in meetings, conferences, and community events, and offers supervision to CFY candidates. Assists with transitioning children to new learning environments and advocates for maximum independence. Performs additional tasks as needed, aligned with team philosophy. Full-time position offering a salary of $67,000–$69,000 annually with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.
