Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech, language, swallowing, and hearing assessments and treatments for all age groups within the Special Education services program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.Develops and implements individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs, collaborating with classroom teams and support staff.Provides speech therapy services in various settings, including community sites and homes, to support children with special needs.Prepares documentation, billing, and Medicaid reimbursement promptly and accurately.Assists children in achieving independence and supports their transition to next learning environments.Offers training to staff and families on communication equipment and at-home activities.Participates in meetings, workshops, and committees, including parent conferences and community events.Supervises CFY candidates and ensures therapy goals are integrated into classroom activities.Offering full-time employment, the role provides a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
