Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and speech/language, swallowing, and hearing treatments for children across all age groups within the Special Education services Program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.Collaborates with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs and classroom accommodations.Prepares and conducts individual and group therapy sessions aligned with children’s goals.Provides services at various community sites, including homes, to support early intervention and related needs.Maintains accurate documentation, manages billing and Medicaid forms, and participates in team meetings and training.Assists with transitions, offers training on communication devices, and advocates for inclusive programming.Engages in community and committee activities, offering supervisory support and participating in conferences.Performs additional tasks as needed, promoting a collaborative team environment.
