Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech, language, swallowing, and hearing screenings and treatments for all age groups within the Special Education Services Program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Develops classroom and home adaptations, models developmentally appropriate practices, and prepares therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals.
Collaborates with staff to implement children’s IEPs, provides direct therapy, and supports inclusive classroom environments.
Travels to community sites for services, conducts evaluations, and maintains confidential documentation.
Provides training to staff and families, assists with transitions, and participates in team meetings and committees.
Offers supervision to CFY candidates and ensures follow-through of therapy goals in classrooms.
Performs additional tasks as needed, fostering a team-oriented approach.
Salary ranges from $67,000 to $69,000 annually, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. The position is full-time and requires in-person work.
