The Speech Language Pathologist provides assessment, treatment, and screening services for speech, language, swallowing, and hearing for all age groups within the Special Education services Program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Develops individualized plans, collaborates on IEPs, and ensures inclusive classroom programming.
Delivers therapy sessions, prepares materials, and monitors progress, including community and home visits.
Completes billing, documentation, and administrative tasks timely.
Provides training to staff and families, and participates in team meetings, conferences, and community events.
Assists with transitions, evaluations, and supports children to achieve independence and optimal development.
Supervises CFY candidates and offers ongoing professional development.
